Job Summary:
Vali Incorporated is seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will assist DoD Accounting with various tasks, including document management, internal controls testing, and corrective action planning.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial management processes, Excel, and MS Office suite. They will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and maintain end-to-end financial management process narratives
  • Perform internal controls testing and populate documentation repositories
  • Develop and track corrective action plans
  • Assist Government accountants with other accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Accounting, business, or related field
  • Established knowledge of Excel and MS Office suite
  • Understanding of general federal government Accounting processes
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
