Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process patient information, including chief complaints, family histories, and medication reconciliations.

Perform routine administrative tasks, such as patient check-in, prior authorizations, and scheduling appointments.

Assist with prescription medication refills, call medications into pharmacies, and notify patients of refills.

Maintain department-specific competencies related to point-of-care testing, equipment handling, and specialty training.

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from a recognized organization, such as the National Health Career Association (NHA) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).

Ability to learn and retain information, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
