Job Description:
The company is seeking a skilled Building Care Specialist to maintain our facilities at our Northridge location. As a Building Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing. You will also be responsible for reporting any safety or fire hazards to the appropriate department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare spaces for the next day by cleaning trash receptacles, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces
  • Maintain clean floors and carpets through sweeping and mopping
  • Sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers and restock dispensers
  • Clean mirrors and windows
  • Report any safety or fire hazards to the appropriate department

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4 years of custodial work experience
  • Previous custodial experience required
  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
  • Possess working knowledge of custodial methods, techniques, and materials
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
