Mulesoft Integration Specialist with API Expertise

Cognizant is seeking skilled engineers for enterprise service development using RAML in Mule, REST-based APIs, and SOAP Web Services. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in building Mulesoft batch jobs, working with various connectors, and handling end-to-end development of APIs.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API manager.
  • Craft solutions with Anypoint Studio and related Mule components (Mule ESB, ETLs, flows, Dataweave, Filtering, exception handling, API management).
  • Work on REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML, and SOA.
  • Implement SOA design patterns for building middleware systems from scratch using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft CloudHub, on-prem, and API Management.
  • 8+ years of overall experience with strong Java and integration background.
  • Experience in implementing API security.
  • Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT, and Mulesoft.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with middle and senior management.
  • Experience in Agile-based project development.
  • Experience in building Munit test cases.
  • Expertise in message transformation, validation, routing, and orchestration in MuleSoft.
  • Advanced ability to map complex business issues to elegant technology solutions.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a sophisticated workload with minimal direction.
  • Hands-on experience in Mule 3.x and 4.x.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of and adherence to Software Development Life Cycle methodology.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $130,000 to $145,000 depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Cognizant offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase plan, and paid parental leave.
