Barista Specialist

At JO Restaurant Group, we are seeking a skilled Barista/Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our cafe team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to our customers, ensuring a positive experience in our cafe.
• Cash Handling and POS Operations: Accurately handle cash transactions and operate our point-of-sale system with efficiency and accuracy.
• Inventory Management: Restock pastries, cookies, and other products as needed, maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing display.
• Coffee Service: Prepare a variety of espresso and non-espresso drinks to our high standards, even during busy periods.
• Workplace Maintenance: Uphold our high cleanliness standards, ensuring a clean and organized workstation at all times.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a food service role is required.
• Skills: Familiarity with food service equipment, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
