We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Grand Marlin Restaurant Group. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Inspect and clean food preparation areas, ensuring safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Quality Control: Ensure the freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, rotating stock, and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Temperature Control: Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, and grills to ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.
- Guest Service: Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Experience: Two years of experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
- Certification: ServeSafe certification (or willingness to attain).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with the culinary team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work standing for 8+ hours and carry supplies.
