Job Summary

Christus Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • One year of experience in nursing, preferably in a similar clinical setting.
  • Current Texas State RN License or Compact RN License
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification
  • ACLS required at time of hire for experienced RNs; new graduate nurses must obtain ACLS by the end of the clinical orientation period.
  • PALS required at time of hire for experienced RNs; new graduate nurses must obtain PALS by the end of the clinical orientation period.
  • Crisis intervention training required within 12 months of hire/transfer date.
Work Schedule and Type

Full-time position with a 7AM - 7PM work schedule.
