Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Dispatcher to join our team at Gila River Gaming Enterprises Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, guests, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents, including medical emergencies, guest or employee assistance, and sensitive key removal.
  • Dispatch Operations: Monitor and control the computerized DSX System for security purposes, including employee card access, gate control, and door alarm monitoring.
  • Communication: Coordinate and communicate with security, surveillance, facilities, and other departments through radio and other means.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of radio transmissions and other pertinent information on dispatch logs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the surveillance department to coordinate emergency response procedures and activities.
  • Guest and Employee Monitoring: Monitor activities of guests and employees in non-gaming areas to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Prior security officer experience preferred, with experience in monitoring Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and training in first aid and/or CPR procedures.
  • Skills: Excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and ability to work in a smoking environment.
  • Certifications: Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and pass a full background check to be certified/licensed.
