**Job Title:** Logistics Coordinator - Wholesale Delivery

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning local deliveries to wholesale customers in a timely and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assign drivers to make deliveries based on product availability, customer locations, and time of day
  • Track progress of drivers along their routes
  • Balance workloads, break times, and customer needs when assigning drivers
  • Check drivers' in and out times and transfer records into company files for analysis and improvements
  • Receive and resolve customer requests and complaints
  • Act as driver when needed during peak delivery times

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in the retail automotive service industry, preferably in an automotive part department, dealership, or jobber/retail establishment
  • The ability to work with people in a fast-paced setting, be competitive yet calm under pressure
  • Superior communication and leadership skills
  • Analytical problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills
  • A high sense of urgency and customer orientation
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive issues
  • Fundamental literacy and the ability to understand and recognize part numbers and line codes
  • The ability to work on feet (stand and walk) for assigned work shifts
  • The capacity to lift and move parts and boxes weighing up to 60 pounds
  • A valid driver's license
