AdventHealth Tampa is renowned for its advancements in cardiovascular health, innovative surgical techniques, and commitment to excellence in patient care. We are building a state-of-the-art surgical and patient care facility that will serve generations to come.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead CT Technologist, you will oversee daily operations in the CT and MRI departments, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to budgetary constraints. You will perform imaging procedures for both neuro and body scans, including complex 3D and CTA studies, while conducting quality assurance audits. Your leadership will foster employee engagement and enhance patient satisfaction.

Key Contributions:

· Execute imaging exams for various patient types, adhering to established protocols and ensuring proper patient identification.

· Maintain efficient workflow by completing exams promptly and managing patient transportation and discharge.

· Operate all imaging equipment safely, demonstrating expertise in performing scans across all age groups.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, including radiation safety and infection control, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

· Review imaging results, providing constructive feedback to team members and participating in performance evaluations.

· Utilize hospital systems for managing exam orders and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications Required:

· Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiologic Science

· Minimum of three years of experience in CT and/or MRI

· Valid Florida State License as a General Radiographer

· Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT – R and ARRT – CT)

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
