Job Title: Civil or Environmental Engineer Co-Op

Verdantas is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil or Environmental Engineer Co-Op to join our team in Toledo, Ohio.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to assist our team with fieldwork, data collection and analysis, and technical report preparation. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in civil or environmental engineering principles and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with fieldwork, including sampling and site inspections
  • Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles to interpret and analyze data
  • Prepare engineering-related calculations, designs, and plans
  • Perform preliminary human health and ecological risk calculations and modeling
  • Assist with environmental assessments and prepare technical reports
Requirements:
  • Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Relevant courses in principles of civil or environmental engineering, geology, or similar
  • Proficient in MS Office products and experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to conduct some fieldwork with occasional heavy lifting
  • Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
  • Must have a valid driver's license
