Job Summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineering Project Manager to lead design and plan development tasks and perform structural analysis and design of various structure types. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading multi-discipline teams and have strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-discipline teams to deliver bridge projects, including plan and report production;
  • Assist in the development of project proposals, scope, and schedules;
  • Help to develop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets;
  • Serve as a quality assurance team review member and mentor for a team of bridge/structural engineers;
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus);
  • Ohio P.E. registration or ability to obtain within 6 months;
  • 7+ years of relevant bridge design experience;
  • Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis;
  • Experience in leading Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Working experience with marketing, business development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation a plus;
  • Working knowledge of Microstation and/or Civil 3d.
