Programmer Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team at College of the Sequoias. As a Programmer Analyst, you will design, create, and maintain computer programs and systems to meet the needs of our users.

• Study existing systems and procedures to identify requirements and optimize data flow.
• Develop programs using best practices and languages such as C#, Java, PL/SQL, and PowerShell.
• Analyze program objectives and design desired outputs.
• Test, check, and refine programs by processing data through the system.
• Communicate with users to respond to requests for assistance or explain proper use of programs.
• Write or modify programming documentation in accordance with new or changed program.
• Remain current on developments in computer programming equipment, applications, and techniques.

• Two years' college-level coursework in data processing.
• One year of computer programming experience.
• Knowledge of Java, source control, and database experience (Oracle and/or SQL server preferred).

The Programmer Analyst will work in an office environment with constant interruptions. Weekend work may be required.
