Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve complex problems involving physics associated with the aluminum industry
  • Perform modeling and validation of computational models using established methodologies
  • Analyze experimental data to develop and validate computational models
  • Collaborate with lab and pilot scale operations to develop breakthrough technologies
  • Coordinate with CAD designers to optimize design and reduce development time
  • Write technical reports and present findings to the broader team
  • Contribute to technology development and decision-making

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in multi-physics simulations, including CFD, heat transfer, and structural analysis
  • Experience with Comsol, Ansys Fluent, or equivalent software
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a high level of autonomy
