Position Overview:
Compensation: $20/hour
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 30-35 hours per week
Contract Duration: Full academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in meeting their Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives across various subjects, including math and reading.
- Facilitate engaging learning activities directed by teachers, such as lesson plans and group work.
- Assist in the integration of students into general education settings.
- Communicate essential information to educators regarding student progress and needs.
- Supervise students during breaks and lunch, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all student-related matters.
- Implement prescribed programs and assist with personal care tasks as needed.
- Provide clerical support to teachers, including preparing materials and maintaining an organized classroom.
- Report any changes in student status as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or in a caregiving role is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficiency in English and strong communication skills are required.
