At HexaQuEST Health, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical histories, perform physical examinations/assessments, and initiate admission orders as necessary.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including medical management and interventions for acute and chronic health problems.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Order and interpret lab studies and diagnostic tests, and notify patients promptly of test results.
- Write orders for prescription medication under established protocols.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a psychiatric setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with no weekends or call requirements. You will be working in an inpatient setting, caring for adult and adolescent patients.
