Job Description

Arixa Capital's Data Insights Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting financial data to support our portfolio management and decision-making processes.

This position requires a strong background in data analysis, with specific experience in the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Management: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and Update Databases: Maintain and update databases related to loan portfolios, financial performance, and market trends.
  • Portfolio Analysis: Analyze loan portfolios to identify trends, performance metrics, and risk factors.
  • Track and Report on Portfolio Composition: Track and report on portfolio composition, including asset types, loan statuses, and borrower profiles.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages, including detailed analysis of portfolio performance and financial metrics.
  • Data Visualization: Develop clear and insightful visual representations of data using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Communicate Findings: Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
  • Metrics Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to assess portfolio health and performance.
  • Provide Actionable Insights: Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to inform business strategies and operational decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Two - three years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a solid understanding of mortgage products, underwriting, and portfolio management.
  • Three – four years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of working with large datasets and performing complex analyses.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $155,000 plus discretionary bonus potential.
