Night Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Night Auditor to join our team at Emerald Hospitality Associates. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and accounting functions.

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Process all reservations and cancellation requests in a timely manner, utilizing various communication channels.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy levels through suggestive selling techniques and effective communication with guests.
• Handle and balance the department's accounting of money, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit, operating the department's cash register.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the front desk and back office, presenting a pleasant and professional image to guests.
• Perform various clerical duties, including handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxing, photocopying, and bookkeeping as needed.
• Act as manager on duty when the manager is not available, ensuring seamless operation of the front desk and accounting functions.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and work as a team player.
• Basic accounting/math skills and ability to exceed expectations of guests.
