Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Laborer/Field Service Technician I to become an integral part of our safety-focused workforce. This position involves active fieldwork, performing essential tasks related to hazardous waste management, site remediation, and equipment decontamination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
  • Operate a variety of light and heavy machinery, utilizing hand tools and powered industrial equipment.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively, including respirators and other safety gear.
  • Work in diverse environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather.
  • Handle potential exposure to hazardous materials and work in confined spaces.
  • Conduct field sampling and assist in the calibration of monitoring equipment.
  • Perform inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and container integrity.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions regularly.
  • Safely manage the loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding environmental safety.
  • Be available for emergency response duties on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:
  • Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform the physical demands of the role.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations, including weekends and holidays.
  • Successfully complete background checks, drug tests, and physical examinations as required.
  • Meet facial hair standards as per respiratory protection regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a labor-intensive role is advantageous.
