About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at TrustBridge, Inc. as a Hospice Care Certified Nursing Assistant. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, comfort, and maintain a safe and clean environment for assigned patients.
  • Provide and maintain bodily and emotional comfort to Hospice patients and families, and educate and assist patients and families in maintaining maximum independent living in a safe environment.
  • Pledge to make the comfort and care of patients and families the highest priority.
  • Consistently provide a high level of personalized, sincere, and engaging service to patients and families at all times.
  • Ensure the complete satisfaction of patients and families; promptly and effectively address all concerns.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six months experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work comfortably with professionals and volunteers.
  • Ability to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to practice good personal hygiene and maintain a neat and clean appearance.
Professional Requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in reference to patients, families, and staff.
  • Ability to understand the Hospice Philosophy and apply it accordingly.
  • Ability to respect the needs, beliefs, behaviors, and psychology of patients and families.
Language Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
