About the Role

ICF International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to support a Department of Defense (DoD) mental health pilot study. This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of one day per week on-site in a metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the pilot study protocol/plan as developed by the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE).
  • Provide telehealth and technology subject matter expertise to the implementation and evaluation of the pilot study.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials, providing a technology and telehealth perspective, to train military providers on the core competencies of mobile health in clinical care.
  • Coordinate and deliver training of the suicide prevention team and develop supplemental pilot resources.
  • Capture metrics of the success of this effort to inform the Military Health System (MHS) enterprise.
  • Respond to questions from pilot participants, helping to ensure activities remain on schedule.
  • Promote knowledge of, and competency with, technology-based behavioral health tools designed to help service members regulate their emotions and improve their psychological health.
  • Translate knowledge gained via the pilot study via final report and out briefings for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop or refine a variety of written documentation to disseminate findings of the SocioTech pilot study.
Mandatory Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Psychology or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience operating as a member of a team supporting multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • 2+ years of experience with behavioral telehealth.
  • 2+ years of experience with mobile apps developed to support or address mental health-related conditions.
  • Active license to practice psychology/mental health support services.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Beneficial Qualifications
  • Professional experience providing training or implementation support in behavioral telehealth.
  • Prior experience as a federal contractor.
  • Prior DoD Psychological Health experience.
  • Implementation science experience in the behavioral health domain with an emphasis on telehealth.
  • Ability and experience communicating effectively (speaking and writing) to diverse audiences in order to convey clinical processes, problems, and solutions.
