Job Description:

At SPIN, Inc., we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Developmental Therapist to work with young children with developmental delays and their families in early childhood settings.

About the Role:

  • This is a per direct hour position, including direct therapy, face-to-face evaluations, and attendance at IFSP team reviews.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children with developmental delays and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and their families in various settings, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Coordinate assessment processes, gathering information on developmental areas and informing families about expectations.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans for each child, working collaboratively with the team.
  • Educate team members, coworkers, and community members about individualized plans while maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices.
  • Utilize equipment, activities, and opportunities tailored to each child's developmental levels and learning styles.
  • Participate in team reviews of child outcomes, maintaining accurate records, collecting data, and submitting records in a timely manner.
  • Discuss findings and recommendations with the team, following up as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Current PA license (therapist)
  • Bachelor degree in child care related field (special instructor)
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, and willingness to travel the Philadelphia, Bucks County, and Delaware County areas

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
