Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Kingman Regional Medical Center. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional patient care and service during procedures
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Provide protection to patients, family members, and staff in accordance with radiation safety standards
• Monitor and record ECG and pressure waveforms during procedures
• Assist with the care and maintenance of equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• Completion of a Radiological Technologist program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA and ACR
• Current registration and licensure by the Arizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners and American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R)
• Minimum two (2) years' experience performing angiographic procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensure in ARRT (CT), ARRT (MR), and ARRT (M) CVT
• Cath lab experience

Work Environment:

This position requires standing and walking for periods of longer than 2 hours, manual dexterity in handling fragile wires and catheters, and concentration, visual, and auditory acuity for watching monitors and following instructions during procedures.
