Job Title: Audio-Visual Technician

We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Technician to join our team at Vision Technologies Inc. in Washington, DC. As a critical member of our global systems integrator, you will provide technology solutions and services for commercial and government clients.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time permanent role supporting one of our programs in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will provide design, installation, maintenance, and emergency repair services for all audio-visual (AV) equipment for a government customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer support in defining and implementing solutions to customer problems with work-processes and tools that address those problems.
  • Design, install, maintain, and repair AV equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their AV needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Test and modify AV systems to ensure they meet customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV equipment and systems.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in audiovisual installation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Crestron/AMX control systems and Polycom VTC platforms.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Reliable transportation for daily work in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia metro area.
  • Experience with AV system setup and troubleshooting.
  • Device installation.
  • Relevant experience as an on-site support technician, front-line help desk technician, or field technician.
  • Manufacturer training such as Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Polycom, Cisco.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 75lbs.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • General computer skills.
Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

Work Authorization:

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
