Job Summary

We are seeking a Food and Beverage Service Professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As an Amuse Server, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing warm and welcoming service, creating personalized experiences, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting with daily operations including opening duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning, and maintaining walk-in fridges and other areas as assigned by the F&B Manager on duty.
  • Meeting and greeting guests and coordinating with the F&B Team regarding preferences, allergies, and special occasions.
  • Maintaining knowledge of food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Providing accurate billing, cash handling, and float procedures.
  • Assisting guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
  • Serving group functions per individual client specifications.
  • Following safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
  • Fulfilling other job tasks as assigned.

Physical Aspects of the Position

The Amuse Server role requires:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent handling and reaching outward.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for the Amuse Server role should possess:

  • 1 year restaurant experience, serving experience an asset.
  • Creative and passionate approach to customer service.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work any shift assigned, including holidays, weekends, mornings, and evenings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as a team player.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Compliance with State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on location and experience. AccorHotel offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

AccorHotel operates in multiple locations across the United States. The specific location for this role will be determined based on business needs and the candidate's preference.
