Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a prominent manufacturer in the metal sector seeking a Production Planner to enhance their operational capabilities. This role is a direct hire opportunity that provides outstanding benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Production Planner will spearhead and oversee production planning, material requirements planning, and inventory management systems.
- The Planner will create and track production timelines to ensure optimal workflow.
- The Planner will enhance operational efficiency by implementing Lean methodologies to refine inventory management and ensure timely delivery and performance metrics.
- The Planner will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to adjust production requirements as necessary.
- The Planner will monitor and manage raw material inventory levels.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should possess over 5 years of experience in Inventory Control and Planning.
- A background in promoting Lean principles is essential.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management, and procurement processes is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory Management is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Possession of a CPIM certification is advantageous.
