Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections during receiving, manufacturing, and assembly stages.
  • Offer technical support related to inspection and measurement systems.
  • Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for essential inspections, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) evaluations.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in testing and inspecting components, assemblies, and machine parts.
  • Extensive familiarity with measurement tools and inspection devices.
  • A minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance/Control roles.
  • Preference for candidates with automated CMM experience; manual CMM experience is also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of calibrated gauges and inspection equipment.
  • Capability to take precise measurements using advanced devices such as Vision Systems, CMM, micrometers, and Vernier dial calipers.
  • Experience in creating documentation for assembly, machining, and inspection records.
  • Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding precision tolerances.
  • Hands-on experience with GD&T and CMM.
  • Solid mathematical skills for measurement tasks.
  • Competence with PC and Manufacturing Data Systems.
  • Experience in supporting Quality and Operations teams.
  • Aptitude for identifying, segregating, and processing non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols.
  • Ability to interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and Quality System Manuals.

This position is well-suited for individuals with a robust background in Quality Assurance/Control, particularly within a manufacturing context, and expertise in CMM and GD&T methodologies.
