Key Responsibilities- Health and Wellness Management
- Provide strategic leadership for resident care in the community, managing, directing, and monitoring the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of the resident population.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for the residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Medication Management
- Provide oversight of the community medication management program to promote resident safety in the medication use process.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for medication management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
- Track, trend, and report clinical quality data to identify risk and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living's policies and procedures.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Recruit, hire, and train clinical team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to clinical team members to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience, with at least one (1) year experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their demonstrated skill capability and in compliance with all regulations.
