Job Summary:

The Nursing Director RN is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. This role requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the nursing department, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff, as well as manage performance and conduct evaluations.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum two (2) years RN experience, with at least one (1) year experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid.
