Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler - Kitting to join our team at US Bulletproofing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for kitting custom and standard parts per bill of materials (BOMs) for assembly and packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Kit custom and standard parts per BOMs for assembly and packaging, adhering to production schedules.
  • Escalate stockouts and missing parts to the Operations Manager and in production meetings.
  • Trigger Kanbans for production and purchasing to eliminate stockouts.
  • Restock assembly line materials on time with accuracy.
  • Conduct cycle counts as assigned by the Manager.
  • Assist Receiving in unloading parts and materials while maintaining stocking locations.
  • Assist Shipping Associate in loading trucks as necessary.
  • Participate in cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain productivity per company standards.
  • Attend monthly safety trainings and follow all company safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or education.
  • Prior kitting and stockroom experience preferred.
  • Ability to become forklift certified within a few days of employment.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and good organization skills.
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
