Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Digital Engineering team designing and analyzing new warfighter capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be a generalist who loves to analyze warfighter problems, model architectures in MBSE tools, and possesses a desire to code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze warfighter problems and develop solutions using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
  • Design and analyze new warfighter capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop digital engineering simulation tools and technologies
  • Stay up-to-date with current strengths and weaknesses in existing MBSE tools and improve the systems engineering process

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Eligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance
  • BS in engineering, computer science, operations research, applied mathematics, or a closely related field with 7 years of relevant work experience or MS with 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience with at least one modern software development ecosystem (e.g., Python, C++, or Java)
  • Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong coding skills in a high-level language (Python, C++, Java)
  • Experience with commercial MBSE software, especially developing plugins to extend functionality
  • Familiarity with DoD mission analysis or campaign analysis software
  • Existing DoD security clearance
