Job Overview

WaterSprites Swim School is seeking a part-time Indoor Swim Teacher to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with children and adults, teaching swim skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming, excellent communication skills, and the ability to commit to at least one year of employment. We offer a competitive starting salary of $40,000 per year, negotiable based on experience, as well as opportunities for raises every 60 days worked and trimester bonuses.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of each class
• Teach swim skills to students using our curriculum
• Build water confidence within your students
• Communicate regularly with students and fellow staff members
• Be a team player who is consistently dependable and reliable
• Complete required training and be a continual learner

Requirements

• Caring and compassion for children
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
• Strong communication skills
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, and weekends required
