About the Role

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Counselor 2 to join our team at the Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CAND). As a key member of our Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)/Behavioral Intervention team, you will provide critical support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavioral plans as outlined by BCBA Case Supervisors
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse client group
  • Utilize computer application software, including Windows, MS-Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience working with children and their families
  • Strong organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication
  • Theoretical knowledge of basic ABA principles and methodology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT)
  • 2 years' experience working with special needs children and their families
  • Proficient in Spanish, and/or Vietnamese (oral and written)
