About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to join our team at Texas Instruments. As an Equipment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select equipment that meets our manufacturing needs, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness and performance.
  • Oversee the installation, modification, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues from equipment manufacturers.
  • Analyze equipment performance and reliability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement programs to increase uptime and resolve equipment-related issues that impact the manufacturing process.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is running at optimal levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer or similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AMAT and/or Ebara CMP equipment.
  • Prior experience with CMP, Wets, and tool monitoring and interdiction software.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and SPC techniques.
  • Experience with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with people in different functions.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.
