Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse in our Cardiac Unit, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients and their families. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care and ensure patient satisfaction.

You will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and rules, including Dignity Health's Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for promptly reporting any potential or suspected violations and assisting in risk evaluation and mitigation.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • One year of clinical nursing experience with Dignity Health in an Intensive Care Unit or six months of experience plus a Bachelor's Degree or Certification in a related field.
  • Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Completion of annual competencies and unit-specific training.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • BSN preferred.
