Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Technician to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a Traffic Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by maintaining a safe work zone and diverting traffic around construction areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and remove temporary cones, signs, and safety barriers to divert traffic and ensure a safe work zone.
  • Hold up signs to direct traffic and maintain a safe flow of traffic.
  • Lead job site teams and instruct/monitor crew members on safety and job duties.
  • Train crew members on safety procedures and job responsibilities.
  • Report to TCS and provide updates on job site activities.
  • Participate in Company-sponsored training programs, including Flagger Certification and Defensive Driver Training.
Requirements
  • Pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License and have a good driving record.
  • Ability to participate in Company-sponsored training programs, including Flagger Certification and Defensive Driver Training.
  • Ability to obtain an ATSSA TCT Certification if under 2,000 hours of service.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality are required, as well as good work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The position requires standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds for extended periods.
