Job Title: Microsoft Engineer/M365

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Engineer to join our team at Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft-based systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Design and Implementation: Design and implement Microsoft-based systems and solutions, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for Microsoft technologies, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Documentation and Security: Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures, and implement and enforce security policies and best practices to protect the IT environment.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in on-call support rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and updates as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of system administration, network management, and security practices, experience with PowerShell scripting and automation, and familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, MS-100, MS-101) are highly desirable.
