Job Title: Engineering Technician - Production Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at Olin. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of products. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the design and development of products, ensuring that production processes are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards. * Provide maintenance support within the department, including operations, engineering, and maintenance. * Develop and implement engineering projects with assistance from the process engineer. * Create new procedures and maintain current procedures, ensuring effective communication and documentation. * Briefly fill in to cover the production floor when supervision is not available. Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * 5 years hands-on experience working on and repairing industrial machinery * Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently when required. * Good communication and documentation skills, with basic people and leadership abilities. * Strong mechanical aptitude, understanding of control systems, and proficiency with basic hand and power tools; machining experience is a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with Inventor or similar computer-generated drawing programs. * Ability to read schematics and drawings, follow written and verbal instructions, and develop/implement new processes. Location-Specific Requirements: * Must possess a Valid US driver's license. * This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. * This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. * This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non-US citizens on-site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a US citizen.
