We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Electrical Tech to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As an Aircraft Electrical Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and/or electromechanical areas. This includes reading and interpreting electrical fabrication and installation drawings, performing installation and troubleshooting of various electronic systems on the aircraft, and ensuring documents and records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and/or electromechanical areas
* Reads and interprets electrical fabrication and installation drawings
* Performs installation and troubleshooting of various electronic systems on the aircraft
* Ensures documents and records are maintained
Requirements
* Ability to obtain or possess Secret security clearance
* Ability to use basic hand tools
* O-level troubleshooting experience on military aircraft systems
* Flightline use of support equipment
* Formally trained in the maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems
* Basic working knowledge of all aircraft systems related to the type of aircraft qualified on
* Working knowledge of Technical Orders and Manuals
* Computer/Typing skills and experience with MS Office Applications
Preferred Qualifications
* Certified 5-Level or Equivalent
* Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) publications
* Experience with Portable Maintenance Aids
* Test & Evaluation experience
* Recent Hands-On experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $100,540
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
