Your Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at CLEAR, you will engage in the design, execution, testing, and deployment of applications that enhance our platform, which integrates various attributes and qualifications while prioritizing member privacy and security.

Technical Stack Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance our capabilities across diverse industries, gaining practical experience in privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture.
  • Write and deliver code across the mobile stack, promoting engineering excellence through adherence to best practices in testing, documentation, and observability.
  • Collaborate with product teams and other stakeholders to identify requirements, innovate solutions, and tackle complex challenges.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, contributing to architectural decisions and striving for continuous technological and process improvements at CLEAR.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficient in mobile application development, particularly within the Android ecosystem, including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Familiarity with collaboration, integration, and deployment tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, App Store, and Play Store.
  • Experience in agile development environments.
  • Able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in mentoring and collaborating with junior team members.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • A genuine curiosity about technology, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to work autonomously to identify priorities.

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
