About the Position

**Job Summary**

The Department of Cinema and Television Arts at California State University, Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking experienced and student-centered individuals to teach Cinema, Television, and New Media within the following subject areas:

  • Critical Studies
  • Management
  • Production
  • Screenwriting

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Teach Cinema, Television, and New Media courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum
  • Assess student learning
  • Advise students

**Requirements**

  • PhD or MFA degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level
  • Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations
  • Fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment
  • Record of professional writing and currency
