Job Summary

The Residence at Bethel Park is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and upkeep of our community buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating and cooling, structural, and grounds care.
  • Ensure timely response to requests for services from residents, associates, and management.
  • Monitor the quality of services performed by outside contractors and maintain accurate records.
  • Implement ongoing preventive maintenance and energy conservation programs.
  • Develop and maintain emergency procedures and equipment.
  • Provide leadership and training to maintenance associates.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly work area free of hazards.
  • Establish and implement a program for the orientations, training, and development of maintenance associates.
  • Communicate effectively with associates and management through regular meetings and reports.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC and repair of minor equipment.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Physical ability to push loaded cart, use vacuum cleaner, buffer, and carpet cleaning machines, and lift at least 40 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
  • Successful criminal background check and drug testing required.
