We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Graduation Career Specialist to join our team at Lake Washington School District. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and administration of various graduation pathway options, including the High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP), Career and Technical Education (CTE), Running Start (RS), Performance Based Pathways, and College in the High School (CiHS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure eligible high school students have access to dual enrollment opportunities and career-connected learning experiences.
  • Support the day-to-day implementation and administration of graduation pathway options.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and community partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local colleges and universities to facilitate dual enrollment opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and staff on college admission processes and career-connected learning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Current Washington State Career & Technical Education teaching certificate or eligibility for CTE certificate.
  • Experience in program coordination, student advising, or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of dual enrollment programs, college admission processes, and career-connected learning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in technology systems related to student planning and reporting.
  • Commitment to the vision, goals, and philosophy of the Lake Washington School District.
