An esteemed construction organization is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager to enhance their team and oversee the MEP components of various construction initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating collaboration with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
  • Overseeing the estimation and bidding procedures while monitoring expenses to effectively manage the MEP project budget.
  • Drafting contracts and purchase orders utilizing standard company templates to accurately document all contracted work, timelines, anticipated costs, modifications, and technical specifications.
  • Engaging in meetings to synchronize efforts and address labor-related issues.
  • Implementing project timelines that encompass all tasks necessary for project completion.
  • Documenting the technical, financial, and personnel elements of each project.
  • Reviewing project drawings, specifications, submissions, and modifications.
  • Providing on-site support to construction supervisors to ensure adherence to contracts, quality assurance, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Monitoring project progress against established milestones.

Compensation for this role ranges from $50 to $55 per hour.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Understanding of engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with basic business concepts sufficient for projecting and monitoring expenses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering/architectural drawings.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in construction projects, mechanical/electrical systems, building materials, building mechanics, or collaboration with craft workers.
