Job Title: Research Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Consultant to join our team at the University of Washington. As a key member of our department, you will play a critical role in modernizing data systems and data collection tools to improve HIV prevention service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a Computer Assisted Self-Intake (CASI) system to collect and manage clinical data.
  • Design and enhance data collection tools, conduct data analysis, and report writing for internal and external partners.
  • Develop abstracts for presentation at national conferences and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Manage multiple large, complex data sets, develop data summaries and reports, and improve data management practices, processes, and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Health Services, Epidemiology, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in data analysis, research, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master or Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Health Services, Epidemiology, or a related area.
  • Experience in complex statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and ability to interpret complex analytic quantitative information.
Working Conditions:

This is a collaborative work environment focused on problem-solving, innovation, and service to partner public health agencies. General working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Flexible hybrid work schedule of on-site and remote work.
