Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Vulcan Materials Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order parts and materials as required for repairs and maintenance.
  • Manage work orders and ensure completion notes are recorded for all repairs.
  • Review reports and ensure the system is properly utilized, following up with users and managers as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for environmental reports, stormwater sampling, housekeeping, and inspections.
  • Modify schedules and communicate with Central Services to ensure preventative maintenance and maintenance schedules are up-to-date.
  • Execute equipment transfers with the EMS.
  • Maintain equipment numbers on the Accounting Database and in the Procurement System.
  • Participate in month-end accounting functions regarding diesel fuel, gasoline inventory, accounting, and fuel allocation.
  • Maintain the EMS filing system and ensure proper signatures and dates are recorded on all paperwork.
  • Maintain and order fuel, oil, grease, welding supplies, and other consumable inventory.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other applicable degree preferred.
  • Experience with administering databases or deployed applications.
  • Experience with report writing is preferred.
  • Experience managing all facets of fixed and mobile equipment in the aggregates industry is desired.
  • Must be able to communicate with other employees to report problems with equipment and receiving assignment procedures.
  • Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must understand the Lab Check Program and have current EMS knowledge.
