Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist Lead to join our team at Loma Linda Univ Behavioral. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members to support their professional development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum six months of experience in a behavioral health setting, with a focus on acute psychiatric care.
  • Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist in the state of California.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with specific age populations, such as adults or adolescents.
  • Knowledge of psychotherapy theory and techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish, in addition to English.
