About the Position:
A prominent credit union is in search of a Mortgage Loan Originator to support members with their mortgage requirements. Key responsibilities include assessing loan applications and making informed credit decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine mortgage loan documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
  • Promote mortgage lending services to both individuals and businesses
  • Assess loan eligibility in relation to secondary mortgage markets
  • Cross-sell additional credit union offerings
  • Keep abreast of trends in mortgage lending
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales
  • Previous experience in the mortgage sector is preferred
  • Active registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
