Job Title: RN, GYN Oncology and Surgery

Boone Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the GYN Oncology and Surgery department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
  • Execute nursing interventions by collaborating with the interprofessional team, incorporating appropriate standards of care and practice, and patient outcomes.
  • Assess and systematically collect data related to patient health status and work in collaboration with the care team to develop the plan of care.
  • Evaluate patient's response to plan of care and work in collaboration with the interprofessional team to make any needed adjustments.
  • Assist with the coordination of care across the continuum (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, home, skilled nursing facility, schools).
  • Assist with the management of patients with multiple chronic health conditions, acute episodes of care, behavioral health challenges, while promoting and supporting prevention and wellness.
  • May float to other clinics as needed for operational requirements.

Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • No Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
