Accounting Specialist

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation:
$55,000 - $65,000 annually
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions for various entities using QuickBooks, including but not limited to: Financial Reporting, Profit & Loss Statements, Month-End Closures, Reconciliations, Budgeting, Forecasting, Auditing, and Tax Preparation.
- Collaborate with tax professionals to facilitate tax submissions.
- Assist in sales operations through data analysis.
- Prepare and evaluate all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payroll, Credit, Job Costing, Insurance Compliance, and Auditing tasks.
- Develop and review standard operating procedures and related documentation, making revisions as necessary.
- Record, categorize, and summarize financial transactions and events.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Trustworthy with confidential information.
- Capable of promptly reporting any incidents or hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
